Faisal Ahmed is a geopolitical strategist and a leading voice on international trade, and China’s global affairs. A global business academic, he is widely recognized for his expertise in geopolitical risk, trade and connectivity issues, and China/Indo-Pacific affairs. Holding a Ph.D. in the area of International Trade, and Master’s in International Business from India, and an Executive Certification in Geopolitical Analysis from Switzerland, he served as consultant on projects supported by the ASEAN Secretariat, India’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and the United Nations ESCWA.
With more than 20 years of experience, he is frequently invited by global think-tanks and institutions as a speaker and resource person, and has been a member of various high-level Track 1.5 and Track II delegations on India-China relations. A globally published author, researcher, and commentator, his work reflects a combination of geopolitical insight, policy influence, and strategic diplomatic engagement, benefiting corporate leaders, institutions, and policymakers worldwide.
